Flair Airlines flight to Winnipeg was forced to return to Toronto for an emergency landing following a birdstrike causing a busted windshield.

Thursday, October 24 2024, Flair Airlines flight FLE641 to Winnipeg International Airport, Canada returned to Toronto Pearson International Airport.

The Boeing 737 MAX 8 (registration C-FLKO) declared PAN-PAN right after departure and reported a bird strike.

Later the flight crew reported that they had a busted windshield in the cockpit, that they were not pressurizing and requested return to Toronto.

Being on approach the pilot requested to stop on the runway because they were unable to see outside due to shattered windshield.

Air Canada flight #AC155 to Calgary declared an emergency and returned to Toronto on Saturday, July 6 2024.

The Airbus A330-300 (registration C-GHLM) departed the runway 23 at 19:26 EDT then headed to North-West and climbed to FL350 to Calgary.

But 25 minutes into the flight, an alarm triggered in the cockpit about cabine pressure forcing the crew for a rapid descent to FL100.

The pilots declared an emergency (squawk 7700) and contacted the tower requiring a quick return to Toronto.

The A330 held 10,000 ft altitude before the final descent to YYZ. It landed back to runway 23 a bit more than one hour after departure.

The plane taxiied without further incident to gate B37.

Air Canada flight from Toronto to Paris quickly returned after takeoff following right engine fire.

The Boeing 777-300ER with nearly 400 passengers on board departed Toronto on Wednesday, June 5 2024 at 21:21 EDT for a 7-hour flight to Paris CDG.

The aircraft (registration C-FIUV) suffered a compressor stall right on departure from Toronto Pearson International Airport runway 23.

The plane climbed to 3,300 ft and the pilots requested an immediate return and emergency landing.

After holding for a while at low altitude, the Boeing 777 was vectored back to Toronto Airport landed back 50 minutes later on the same runway and was met by fire trucks.

Costs are huge for Air France as an A350 is stuck at Toronto Airport since January.

On Thursday, January 25 2024 the aircraft performing flight #AF356 from Paris to Toronto suffered an incident during the landing.

The Airbus A350-900 registration F-HTYH received substantial damage to its fuselage during a tail strike while landing attempt on runway 24L.

The aircraft, delivered in 2021, is still stuck at Toronto Pearson International Airport costing a lot to Air France.

Four months after the incident, the aircraft is still under repair by Airbus team. The plane should be back in commercial service shortly.
