Emirates is suspending check-in for passengers departing Dubai with immediate effect.

Emirates is suspending check-in for passengers departing Dubai International Airport from 8:00am on 17 April until midnight, due to operational challenges caused by bad weather and road conditions.

Emirates will operate for ONLY transit-passengers until midnight. The airline will not accept any passengers starting travel from Dubai as the global airline grapples with the impact of the severe storms over the Gulf that hit the UAE particularly hard.

UAE’s Dubai airports asks passengers not to come to airports unless absolutely necessary due to unprecedented weather conditions.

⚠️We advise you NOT to come to the airport, unless absolutely necessary.
Flights continue to be delayed and diverted. Please check your flight status directly with your airline.

We are working hard to recover operations as quickly as possible in very challenging conditions.

Passengers arriving in Dubai and already in transit will continue to be processed for their flights.
