A British Airways A380 is holding after takeoff from London Heathrow.

British Airways flight #BA207 departed London Heathrow at 10:48 GMT, one hour late, then entered immediately a hold over the English Channel.

The Airbus A380 (registration G-XLEC) is holding 13,000 ft altitude in order to burn or dump fuel and reduce weight.

BA207 is now returning to London Heathrow.

British Airways #BA207 landed on runway 27R more than 4 hours after departure.

The A380 has vacated the runway, met by fire trucks on taxiway.
