An ANA Dreamliner flight NH816 bound for Tokyo made an emergency landing in Kuala Lumpur Monday after receiving a warning that the temperature of the exhaust gas from its right engine (Rolls-Royce) was very high.
The pilots cut off power on the right side and landed with the left engine. The company has to determine the cause of the warning.
The aircraft left Kuala Lumpur airport at 8:10 a.m. local time and landed back at 9:27 a.m. The airline is looking to arrange alternative options for the203 passengers of flight 816 to fly to Tokyo.
