United Airlines flight #UA987 departed Chicago O’Hare International Airport Monday, October 14 2024 at 18:07 CDT.

After 5 hours in the flight, while still in middle of Atlantic, the crew declared an emergency (squawk 7700).

The Boeing 787-10 (registration N12004) was vectored to Iceland and diverted to Keflavik International Airport.

The Boeing aircraft landed on runway 01 then taxied to a remote area of the airport.
