Yesterday, a Ryanair flight and an easyJet flight declared an emergency and diverted to Western of France.

Thursday, September 19 2024, Ryanair flight #FR4468 departed Nottingham, UK to Malaga, Spain.

Pilots of the Boeing 737 MAX 8200 (registration EI-IFY) declared an emergency and diverted to Nantes due to a medical situation.

The aircraft departed NTE airport only 40 minutes later and resumed flight to Malaga.

Few hours later, an easyJet flight from Malaga to Manchester declared an emergency and diverted to France.

The crew of the Airbus A320 (registration G-EZUP) was forced to divert to Bordeaux due to a medical emergency on board.

The aircraft resumed the flight one hour later and landed in Manchester at 3:23 BST.
