JAL flight #JL41 to London Heathrow returned to Tokyo Haneda, 7hours after departure.

Today Thursday, November 21 2024, flight #JL41 departed Tokyo Haneda gate 112 at 02:20 JST for a 13-hour flight to London.

The flight was operated by a Boeing 787-8 (registration JA845J), 8 years old. It climbed to 37,000 ft toward North to fly over the Pole.

But 3 hours into the flight, the crew decided to turn around over the Bering Sea due to a medical emergency on board.

The Boeing aircraft returned to Haneda Airport gate 113, 7 hours after departure.

The flight resumed, departed Tokyo at 11:48, scheduled to arrive at 16:00 in London.
