Satellite imagery shows damage at aircraft factory in Russia’s Voronezh Oblast after reported drone strike.

On April 9, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported the “repel of the unmanned attack” on the city of Borysoglebsk. Also, the main intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed the drone strike on the Russian plant.

Planet Labs satellite picture shows damage to the building of the 711th aviation plant in the Voronezh region, which is more than 300 km from the border of territories controlled by Ukraine.

The photo shows the damage to one of the buildings in the factory. The roof collapsed as a result of the blow in the building.

The aircraft plant in Voronezh region is repairing the missiles that Russia launches on Ukrainian territory with fighters and combat helicopters.

An air expert cited the types of missiles R-73, RVV-AE, X-25 and R-27 used by Russian helicopters Mi-24 and Ka-52, as well as the fighters Su-24, Su-25 and Su-34.
